The agreement provides for the supply of new miners starting from December 2023. The hardware deployment is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2024. The company also plans to increase the capacity of all equipment to 20.1 Eh/s.
Riot was also able to purchase up to 66560 additional M56S++ miners from MicroBT. The company expects that these 66,560 machines will add 15.3 ECH/s to Riot’s mining power, up to 35.4 ECH/s.
