A big topic has been created with videos making the rounds on the internet in which they appear troops to dance drunk during a party held while the war was raging with the Hamas in the Middle East.
The party was held at an army unit in the north Israel and a famous Israeli pop star who had also taken part in Eurovision was invited. The soldiers appear to be drunk, dancing half-naked in the midst of war, bloodshed and thousands of dead on both sides.
In fact, some even dance with weapons in hand.
The Israeli Ministry of Defense after the commotion that was caused announced that they will be subject to strict disciplinary sanctions.
The explanation given by the soldiers is that an officer called the pop star Avihu Pinhasov because one of the soldiers had recently got married and they wanted to boost their morale.
