The American company Riot Platforms, registered in the state of Colorado, plans to launch a bitcoin mining farm in Texas. The first stage with equipment for 100 MW is planned to be launched in March.

The farm with a total capacity of 400 MW will be deployed under an agreement with HashHouse Tech, a company that supplies mining equipment.

We are talking about MicroBT installations based on the Poseidon platform. The platform promises uninterrupted operation of equipment in any climate zone, even at very high temperatures in Texas.

Riot Platforms purchased 66,560 ASIC mining rigs late last year. The transaction amount was almost $291 million.

Previously, the US Office of Management and Budget (OMB) allowed the Energy Information Administration (EIA) to request detailed data on the consumption and use of electrical energy from mining companies.
