More people at France should work from home to curb the spread of COVID-19, the government said today, saying authorities should step up controls and sanctions against companies that do not do enough.
Speaking after a cabinet meeting, government spokesman Gabriel Atal told reporters that situation with COVID-19 deteriorating everywhere in the country.
He also said that the government may add three more areas to the list of high-risk areas in relation to Covid-19, which need careful monitoring and that there may be a need for restrictive measures.
“The epidemiological situation is bad,” Atal said.
