Risk of heavy rain throughout Brazil continues on the last day of 2021; see forecast

The year 2022 may arrive rainy in much of Brazil, according to weather forecasts made by Climatempo for this Friday (31), the last day of the year.

The formation of instability zones is observed in most of Brazil, with the circulation of winds and the great availability of hot and humid air increasing the chances of heavy rains.

In southern Bahia, heavily hit by storms in recent days that caused an environmental and human disaster in the region, these same areas of instability have already dissipated.

Almost all areas of the South, Southeast, Midwest, Northeast and North of Brazil spend the day with a lot of cloudiness, stuffy air and conditions for rain showers with lightning that can occur at any time of day.

Among the capitals, there is a risk of heavy rain in Porto Alegre, Curitiba, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro (dawn/early morning), Belo Horizonte, Goiânia, Brasília, Cuiabá, Campo Grande, Teresina, São Luís, Fortaleza, Natal, Palmas, Belém, Macapá, Manaus and Porto Velho, says Climatempo.

On the other hand, there are records of very dry air in the center-south and west of Rio Grande do Sul, with relative humidity between 10% and 30%. It is also very hot in this region of the country.
