Saudi Arabia is creating an international alliance aimed at promoting a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the country’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud said yesterday, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The alliance includes a number of Arab and Muslim countries as well as European partners, Saudi Arabia’s state news agency reported, without specifying which countries have pledged to join. European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said in a post on X that the first meetings will take place in Riyadh and Brussels.
