Three people were arrested, this Saturday (13), for carrying out the scam known as “Good night Cinderella” on a man, in Rio de Janeiro. The criminals took advantage of the victim being unconscious to steal clothes, electronic equipment and cell phones, as well as bank cards and R$30,000 in cash.
Images from surveillance cameras, recorded in the early hours of April 10, show when the victim arrives with a woman, identified as Bruna Liza Lage Ribeiro, known as Barbie, aged 30, and a man, Zacarias da Silva Gonçalves Rosa, aged 35. , in the building where he lives, on the edge of Barra da Tijuca, west of the capital of Rio de Janeiro. The three walk to the building, go through the lobby and go to the victim's apartment.
Later, it is possible to observe, through the camera installed in the hallway, Bruna and Zacarias leaving the property. Other equipment shows the two leaving the building on foot. According to investigations, they carry the boy's belongings in their suitcases.
According to the delegates responsible for the case, Neilson Nogueira and Marcelle Tuppan, the third partner is Evandro de Jesus Fernandes, known as Evandro Fal, aged 35, who supported the action. According to investigations, in addition to storing and hiding the victims' belongings, he was also the owner of the card machine used in financial operations after the theft.
According to the Civil Police, the victim was approached in a bar on Rua Olegário Maciel by cousins Bruna and Zacarias. The pair convinced the boy to go to his apartment. There, the suspects placed an unknown substance in the victim's drink, who was unconscious for approximately 19 hours.
When he woke up, he realized that his belongings were gone. With their cards, the criminals also carried out financial operations on the victim's bank accounts, increasing the loss.
“After a thorough analysis of the security camera monitoring system in the victim's condominium, it was possible to identify the dynamics of the incident, as well as the details and physical characteristics of the perpetrators. Then, intense investigative work began, with data crossing and intelligence information, through which it was possible to locate the profile on the Instagram social network of the blonde woman, who ended up being identified as Bruna Barbie”, explained the Civil Police.
On Bruna's social networks, investigators discovered that she is Evandro's girlfriend. In one post, the suitcases that were stolen from the victim's house appear.
The three suspects were arrested in an aparthotel in Jacarepaguá, in the west zone. One of the suitcases and other belongings that had been stolen from the victim were also found at the scene.
They are temporarily detained and will be charged with aggravated robbery and criminal association. Investigations continue to identify other possible victims and also to try to recover the victim's other belongings.
