A Robbie Williams fan died after falling during one of his ‘XXV Tour’ shows last week.
Last Thursday night (16), a 70-year-old woman fell from the sixth row of seats at the Allianz Stadium in Sydney, Australia. The admirer did not survive her injuries and her death was confirmed this Tuesday (21).
“We were called due to reports of a 70-year-old woman who had fallen. We treated her at the scene with injuries to her face and head and took her to St Vincent’s Hospital in a critical condition,” a New South Wales Ambulance Service spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.
A spokesperson for Venues NSW, organizers of the shows, previously revealed the woman was treated by staff and a spectator who was a “qualified medical professional”.
“The client was immediately attended to by venue staff and a nearby audience member who is a qualified medical professional. Doctors arrived shortly after and the client was taken by ambulance from the scene to the hospital,” she said.
According to LBC, a spokesperson for the venue reported that ”instead of using the stairs, the woman tried to climb over the rows of seats,” adding that she then ”lost her balance and fell. ”.
At the time of publishing this article, the musician has not commented on the tragedy.
