The company's CEO added that this solution facilitates the integration of crypto assets into TradFi. Also, according to Tenev, spot Bitcoin ETFs provide new opportunities to create sophisticated risk management tools that will benefit investors.
At the same time, Robinhood's CEO emphasized the platform's desire to help bridge the gap between crypto assets and TradFi. He also noted that educational materials will appear on the site not only on Bitcoin and the blockchain in general, but also on ETFs.
The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved spot Bitcoin ETFs on January 10, 2024. Trading is expected to begin on January 11 at 16:30 Moscow time.
