Robot solved Rubik’s cube faster than a eyelid: students break down all records

Resolving Rubik’s cube is a challenge for most people. For a group of students from the Purdue University of Electrical and Computer Engineering, it was an opportunity to redefine the limits of speed, precision and automation – and write history. Purdubik’s Cube, a high -speed robotic system, now holds the Guinness World Record for the “fastest robot to solve puzzles”, with an impressive 0.103 seconds. Faster time than opening the eye – and almost three times faster than the previous official record of 0.305 seconds, which had been achieved by a Mitsubishi Electric team in Japan in May 2024.
