The singer Mariah Carey 55, landed at Rio de Janeiro-Galeão International Airport this Saturday (21). She will perform on the Sunset Stage on the last day of the music festival Rock in Rio 2024 in the capital of Rio de Janeiro, on Sunday (22).
The artist, whose hits include “We Belong Together” and “Obsessed,” appeared wearing a cap and a long-sleeved white jacket. There, the artist spoke to the fans who were waiting for her and took the opportunity to sign some autographs. See the images above.
Mariah also performed at the Allianz Parque stadium in São Paulo on Friday (21). On that occasion, she performed an unprecedented encore of the song “I Want To Know What Love Is” — which was more successful in the country than anywhere else in the world and topped the Brazilian charts for 25 weeks in 2009. The expectation is that she will repeat the tribute at Rock in Rio.
Besides her, the singer Shawn Mendes 26, the main attraction on the last day of the music festival, also met fans in Rio de Janeiro. He came down from his room at the Fasano Hotel and took photos with the audience waiting for him at the door.
