This Monday (29), the Rock in Rio announced that the festival will have a day dedicated to Brazilian music in day September 21st . Titled as “Brazil Day” representatives of different genres and rhythms were confirmed for the 40th anniversary edition of the event.
Names like Zeca Pagodinho, Luan Santana, Ana Castela, Alcione, Simone Mendes and Chitãozinho and Xororó are some of the highlights. In general, artists from country music, samba, MPB, bossa nova, classical music, rap, trap and national pop take the stage.

The Rock in Rio festival takes place on the 13th, 14th, 15th, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd of September 2024. In addition to the national names, international attractions such as Katy Perry, Mariah Carey, Cindy Lauper, Travis ScottEd Sheeren, and Akon are already confirmed.
