Rock in Rio is 30 days away; see how to activate your digital ticket

There are 30 days left until the start of Rock in Rio 2024 . The 40th anniversary special edition takes place on September 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21 and 22, 2024, in Rio de Janeiro.

As the event approaches, the festival has shared a step-by-step guide on how to activate tickets, which are available online. But be careful! According to Rock in Rio, tickets are being released gradually and suggests that customers keep an eye on their registration email.

How do I activate my Rock in Rio ticket?

First, access your account on Ticketmaster website (the same place where the tickets were sold), go to “my orders”, open the Rock in Rio purchase and choose the option “open in the Quentro app”. Then, the user must choose an email to receive the tickets and validate the registration using the code received in the email inbox.

To access the ticket, the user must download the Quentro app and enter an email address to also receive a validation code. That’s it! The tickets will be activated and available in the “Upcoming” tab of the app.

Rock in Rio has also provided a step-by-step guide on how to transfer tickets. Check out how to do it below:

After the general sale, four days of the festival — September 13, 14, 20 and 22 — sold out and in the Rock in Rio pre-sale itself, tickets for the six days were over in just two hours and 15 minutes. At that stage, customers with credit cards from Itaú, Credicard and Iti had priority for the purchase.

However, the other three days are still availableeven after the extraordinary sale that took place last week. They are:

  • September 15: Rock Day with Avenged Sevenfold as headliner
  • September 19: headlined by Ed Sheeran
  • September 21: Brazil Day

The consultation was held at 2:30 pm this Tuesday (13) and both full and half-price tickets were available for purchase.

In celebration of the upcoming event, the festival also shared a video with some spoilers for the 40th anniversary edition. Check it out:
