Last Thursday night (29), the Rock in Rio announced Travis Scott as one of your headliners of the 2024 edition.
A debutant at the festival, the rapper performs from Rock City on September 13th. On the same date, the program also features Matuê, Wiu and Teto, who will perform the first show of the edition on Palco Mundo.
Who is Travis Scott?
At 32 years old, Travis has more than 54 million followers on Instagram. Known in the hip-hop scene, he is originally from Houston, Texas and is actually called Jacques Berman Webster II.
On his resume, he has six studio albums, four of which are solo and the other two in partnership with other musicians. Among the highlights is “ASTROWORLD” – launched in 2018.
Titled “UTOPIA”, the most recent project reached the public in 2023, including features with Beyoncé, Drake, The Weeknd and SZA, for example.
Personal life
Between comings and goings, Travis Scott dated Kylie Jenner for years.
The two were seen together for the first time in 2017, and the romance came to an end, more definitively, in January 2023. From the relationship, they had two children, Storm, aged 6, and Aire, aged 2.
