The next edition of Rock in Rio, scheduled to take place between the 2nd and 11th of September, gained a new stage with attractions from Brazilian artists such as the band Fresno, DJ Pedro Sampaio and rapper Baco Exu do Blues.
They will perform during breaks between the shows on the Mundo and Sunset stages, on a promotional stage developed in partnership between Itaú and TikTok.
“Perhaps our biggest dream has always been to play at Rock in Rio,” Fresno wrote on Twitter after the announcement.

The so-called “Arena Itaú” will also feature concerts by artists from different musical genres, such as João Gomes, one of the main names in piseiro in Brazil, the funk singer MC Dricka, the bands Lagum and Terno Rei, and the singers Ananda and Karen Jonz.
The songs from the setlist of these artists will be defined in a popular vote through the @itau profile on TikTok.
“The choice of this program is the result of a curatorship made by TikTok, which selected artists who were born or became popular on the platform, observing the criterion of regional and style diversity”, informed the organizers of the initiative.
The shows will take place every day of the festival, between 3pm and 12:10am, during the break of the attractions of the most outstanding stages of Rock in Rio. On the next 30th, more attractions should be announced for this stage.
