Rocket launched by Yemen’s Houthi was intercepted by Israeli armed forces

The Israeli Armed Forces (IDF) announced tonight that they had stopped a rocket launched against Israel by the Houthi rebels from Yemen, while testimonies were preceded by strong explosions heard in the heaven of Jerusalem. Alarm sirens had sounded in the central part of the country, in Jerusalem, in several settlements of the occupied West Bank and in some areas of southern Israel. Three minutes earlier residents had received an urgent notice of an impending missile attack on their mobile phones. Since March 18, when the Israeli armed forces began attacking Hamas on the Gaza Strip, Houthi rebels have launched 44 ballistic missiles from Yemen and more than 10 unmanned aircraft against Israel.
