Chinese optics manufacturer Rockstar has released two fixed focal length APS-C format lenses designed for format mirrorless cameras. These are a 10mm fisheye lens and a 27mm wide angle lens.
The Rockstar 10mm F8 lens on APS-C format cameras has a 16mm EGF. It consists of five elements in four groups, including three extra-low dispersion elements. The aperture does not change and is equal to f / 8. The minimum focusing distance is 30 cm. The lens is focused manually. It does not send EXIF recording data to the camera.
The lens is available for cameras Canon EOS-M, Fujifilm X, Micro Four Thirds, Nikon Z and Sony E. Its diameter is 58 mm, length – 11 mm, weight – 79.5 g. The lens costs 65-75 dollars.
The Rockstar 27mm F2.8 is also manually controlled. It is characterized by an EGF of 43 mm and consists of six elements in five groups. The minimum focusing distance is 25cm. The aperture is also fixed at f/2.9. The lens is designed for filters with a diameter of 55 mm.
This lens is also available for Canon EOS-M, Fujifilm X, Micro Four Thirds, Nikon Z, and Sony E camera systems. It can be purchased for around $60.
