Rockstar has published a big message to fans, in which it apologized for the huge number of problems with the re-release of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, and also confirmed the soon return on sale of the classic games in the series.

First, we want to sincerely apologize to everyone who has encountered problems playing these games. The Grand Theft Auto series is as valuable to us as it is to fans around the world. The updated versions of these classics have not been released in a state that meets our own quality standards or the standards that our fans have come to expect. We plan to resolve technical issues and improve each game in the future. With every planned update, games will reach the level of quality they deserve.

The developers have confirmed that in the coming days there will be a new update for all versions of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, which will address a number of issues. We will soon be adding the classic PC versions of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas back to the Rockstar Store as a bundle. In addition, anyone who purchased Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for PC from the Rockstar Store before June 30, 2022 will receive these classics in their Rockstar Games Launcher library at no additional cost. Once again, we want to thank everyone for their patience and understanding.
