“Rodent Men”: who are the “rat-faced men” who are dominating Hollywood

A new term began to circulate on the web to talk about certain Hollywood names: “Hot rodent man” (sexy rodent man, in free translation into Portuguese). It is used to describe actors who, according to users, have a “rat face”.

Reporter Gina Cherelus from The New York Times described the appearance of these men as: “shy and unconventional, with a toothy smile and, instead of a chiseled face like Brad Pitt or Chris Hemsworth, it is more pointed.”

“It’s important that your faces are angular, that’s the absolute giveaway. That and big ears. They seem nervous and evasive,” she added.

Rising stars in the industry like Jeremy Allen White in “The bear” , Timothée Chalamet in “Dune” It is Josh O’Connor in “Rivals” are some of the names that appear recurrently associated with the term.
