Rodrigo Faro announces departure from Record after 16 years

The presenter Rodrigo Faro 51, announced, this Thursday (5), his leaving Record TV after 16 years at the broadcaster . In a statement, published on his Instagram profile, he said that the time has come to end the “very special” cycle in his life.

“We decided by mutual agreement (the broadcaster and I) not to renew my contract, a decision taken with a lot of reflection and with a heart full of gratitude. There were years of learning, challenges, and achievements that I will carry with me forever”, he wrote.

Afterwards, Faro assured that Record was more than a professional house, but the broadcaster that gave him the opportunity to become a relevant communicator, where he built friendships and experienced unforgettable moments. “I grew not only as a professional, but also as a human being,” he added.

“I am deeply grateful to my entire team, who together with me, built this success story, to my colleagues, and, especially, to you, who accompanied me throughout this journey. The affection, respect and trust of the public were and will always be my greatest motivation”, he continued.

Finally, Rodrigo stated that It’s not goodbye but a see you soon . “I’m excited for the new challenges and projects to come. I will soon tell you all the news, and I hope to continue counting on your support in this new phase of my career”, he concluded.
