The first trailer for “Silvio” , a biopic by Silvio Santos, was released this Tuesday (9). The film hits theaters on September 5th.
The plot will show behind the scenes of how the presenter had to fight to protect his family and his legacy while facing one of the most challenging moments of his life: the kidnapping that marked Brazil, according to the synopsis.
The production is led by Rodrigo Faro , who returns to acting after 15 years: “Playing Silvio in the cinema was definitely the biggest challenge of my career to date. He has always been and is a reference communicator for me.”
The title is directed by Marcelo Antunez responsible for productions such as “Any Stray Cat 2 ” (2015), “A Suburban Lucky”(2016), “Until Luck Do Us Part 3 ” (2015) and “Federal Police – The Law is for Everyone ” (2017), who also contributed to the script.
