There must have been a (tacit) agreement between the prima donnas who paraded on the inaugural red carpet of the 18th edition of the Rome Film Festival: «total black» the password. There were few breaches of the golden rule of elegance among the female presences at the opening ceremony of the Capitoline festival: so black (let’s just say black) and a shower of crystals and sequins to illuminate it just enough to not turn the class into boredom.
In black – signed Armani Privè – the most applauded star of the evening, that is Paola Cortellesimaking his directorial debut with his film It’s still tomorrow. His actress, Emanuela Fanelli, is also in black, as are the guests on the red carpet, from the Italians Martina Stella (very lively trouser suit), Maria Grazia Cucinotta (sequined) e Caterina Balivo (in short), French style but with an Italian heart Philippine Leroy-Beaulieutrue revelation of Emily in Paris and authentic neo fashion icon. But also a more sensual and bubbly presence on this red carpet.
But all (just all!) the looks (and our inevitable ones votes) are below.
