Romy Mars, daughter of Sofia Coppola, did it big and it went viral

Romy Marsborn in 2006, is the daughter of the famous director Sophia Coppola and of Thomas Marsmusician and lead singer of French indie pop band Phoenix. Despite the fame of the parents, in the last few hours there is only talk of her! In fact, the sixteen year old has become viral on TikTok for a video, now deleted, which however was promptly re-shared by other users on Twitter, where it is continuing to collect record numbers.

But what has Romy Mars done to cause all this fuss? In the chaotic clip shared on his profile, the teenager improvises the recipe for pasta with vodkanot so much out of innate culinary passion as out of necessity: he can’t go out because he’s grounded and therefore has to fill his time in some way!

Romy would in fact have tried to charter a helicopter from New York to Maryland, to be able to have dinner with a friend of hers, using her father Thomas’ credit card.

More or less like when we bought paid ringtones as teenagers to the detriment of unsuspecting parents, only that there it was a question of a few euros and the only helicopter we had access to, at most, was the remote-controlled one.

However, the video continues with an admission: Romy she doesn’t know the difference between garlic and onion and had to google it. With the group of chefs that it will probably have, we are sure that this confusion is due to the privilege of never having had to spend too many hours in front of the stove and then… if our search engine could speak, probably all of us, in our own way, would pale the experts.

Romy has given us this spontaneous parenthesis of her life only now for the first time because, in the Coppola-Mars house, a very important rule applies: she is not allowed to have public social profiles, only private ones. Why? His parents want to prevent their daughter from becoming part of the circle of gods nepo babiesthat is, that of the privileged children of famous parents.

But… By now he was in trouble, he couldn’t end up in punishment for not having respected a rule if he was already in punishment anyway! Plus she naively thought that TikTok wouldn’t make it viral and instead… here we are!

Romy’s naturalness and sincerity, for better or for worse, have been mostly well received and acclaimed by the web which, although it cannot put itself in the girl’s golden shoes, appreciates her sympathy and makes fun of the grandeur of the Coppola lineage: grandfather Francis Ford Coppola gives birth to a masterpiece like the Godfather, daughter Sofia gives us Marie Antoinette and the niece tries to charter a helicopter and then cook pasta even though she doesn’t know what an onion is.
