Died this Sunday (3) Ronaldo Ramos Caiado Filho, son of the governor of Goiás, Ronaldo Caiado. The information was confirmed in a note by his advisor.
Ronaldo Caiado Filho was 40 years old. The cause of death was not disclosed.
“It is with deep regret that we communicate the death of Ronaldo Ramos Caiado Filho, son of Governor Ronaldo Caiado and Thelma Gomes. He died this Sunday (07/03), at the age of 40. The bereaved family asks everyone for prayers to face this moment of immense pain.”
The governor’s opponents sympathized with the incident. Major Vitor Hugo, PL’s pre-candidate for the government of Goiás, regretted what happened.
“My sincerest and deepest feelings for the irreparable loss of Governor Ronaldo Caiado and his family. May God comfort your hearts,” wrote Major Vítor Hugo on Twitter.
Gustavo Mendanha, Patriota’s pre-candidate, said that the loss of a child is the worst in the world.
“No pain in the world compares to a loss like this. As a sign of respect, I have suspended my schedule for this Sunday and I am in prayer, asking God to comfort the hearts of the family.”
In a statement, the mayor of Goiânia, Rogério Cruz, said that the death of Caiado Filho causes an “immense void”.
“The departure leaves us with an immense void, although we know that the happy memories will last forever. They are also the ones who comfort us in the most difficult moments. The loss of a child is a deep pain that only the love of God can comfort.”
