Roskomnadzor demanded that the administration of the Google search service immediately remove restrictions on the search results of the official websites of Russian government agencies, as well as explain the reasons for their introduction. This was reported by the press service of the department.

According to Roskomnadzor, the American search engine Google excluded the websites of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation from the results of search results for the Russian audience.
The press service of Roskomnadzor noted:
Such actions by Google violate the key principles of the free flow of information and unhindered access to it by Russian citizens, and also emphasize the anti-Russian position of the American IT company in the information war against Russia.
