mult.ru is a well-known resource that contains all 160 episodes of the legendary animated series by Runet Masyan. However, the future of the resource is in doubt: according to TASS, Roskomnadzor sent a notice to the owner of mult.ru about the need to remove one of the episodes of the series. Claims arose against the series “Wakizashi” number 160, which deals with the events in Ukraine.
“Based on the request of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Russia, Roskomnadzor sent a notification to the owner of the mult.ru resource about the need to remove an episode of the animated series. This video, posted on one of the pages of the site, contains unreliable socially significant information about the course of a special military operation to protect the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, aimed at discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, including numerous casualties among the civilian population of Ukraine and the destruction of cities in connection with with the actions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation “Roskomnadzor said in a statement.
The department announces that “The indicated resource was not blocked by Roskomnadzor. However, the site administrator temporarily restricted access to the resource on his own. A subsequent check by Roskomnadzor showed that, having unblocked the site, its administrator posted the same video on the main page of the resource, and also created a mirror of this site. In this regard, Roskomnadzor sent a request to remove the newly appeared video on the mult.ru website, as well as prohibited material from the mirror of this site.. In case of non-compliance with the requirement, Roskomnadzor will take measures provided for by Russian law to restrict access to these illegal materials, the department added.
The mirror is multru.com. This resource will not be blocked, as it is located outside the .ru domain zone. Also, the creators urge to watch the series on YouTube. At least – until YouTube works in Russia.
