Today, on August 24, employees of the Roselectronics holding (part of the state corporation Rostec) officially announced the launch of the assembly production of the latest line of IP cameras. The main feature of the new hardware is protection against unauthorized access to video surveillance information systems. Accordingly, when the latest development is integrated into a full-fledged digital platform to ensure the integrated security of enterprises of a state corporation, it will not be possible to hack the camera and gain access to the signal.
Representatives of the holding noted that the production of new IP video cameras was launched at the facilities of NPP Signal, which is part of the Avtomatika Concern, which is part of Ruselectronics. Accordingly, the manufacturer plans to install the first batch of IP cameras on the territory of the enterprise itself, plus in the future it is planned to launch the production of cylindrical and dome products that will be equipped with a fixed or varifocal motorized lens. At the same time, the first batch of IP cameras will boast a fairly modern photosensitive sensor that works together with high-performance sensors.
What’s more, the new cameras are equipped with a fairly decent optical zoom, which is extremely useful in the field of security, as well as IR illumination, which works at a distance of 35 to 60 meters. And, of course, the manufacturer took care of a durable vandal-resistant case, which is suitable for use in a variety of conditions. It is also worth noting that the presented devices from the factory are equipped with one of three types of lenses with a focal length from 13.5 to 50 mm. Accordingly, the focal length affects the camera’s viewing angle, the image scale and the transfer of content in perspective – the smaller the focal length, the larger the camera’s viewing angle.
Andrey Motorko, General Director of the Avtomatika Concern, said that the hardware characteristics of the new video cameras of the Signal line are fully consistent with the current industry leaders. As a result, a Russian-made IP camera can shoot both with a wide viewing angle and with quite impressive detail. In addition, all devices received protection from dust and moisture, and thanks to a special coating, the equipment can be used even at chemical industry facilities or, for example, in rooms with high humidity.
