Rostec will launch the production of glasses against insomnia, their effectiveness has already been proven

The Tekhmash concern, a part of the state corporation Rostec, intends to launch into production special glasses called Blue Sky pro, capable of regulating circadian modes. Such a device can be used as a prophylaxis for various sleep disorders in order to restore daily biorhythms within one or two days. This was reported on the Rostec website.

The device is being developed in collaboration with the Samara State Medical University. The Samara Electromechanical Plant of the Tekhmash Concern will be engaged in its production. Blue Sky pro emits light that is similar to the sun from 6 am to 10 am and from 2 pm to 6 pm. This light, falling on the retina, activates the brain cells, which are responsible for the “internal clock” and cause the body to switch from night mode to daytime. The company says that it is enough to use the glasses daily during the specified hours for 30 minutes to fully restore the sleep-wake cycle.

Blue Sky pro allows you to get rid of sleepiness in the morning and delay sleep until about 23 hours. The device is also useful for those who do not tolerate the change of time zones for more than three hours, as well as when working on a night shift. They improve concentration and well-being during depression and have been shown to be effective in neurophysiological studies. The glasses will go into serial production from next year.
