“Round 6”: director says post-credits scene gives “hint” of season 3

The creator and director of “Round 6”, Hwang Dong-hyuk spoke about the expectations for the third season of the series which should arrive at Netflix still in 2025 .

“If you saw the hidden scene after the end credits rolled after the last episode of season two, if you watch this clip, it will give you a little hint about where season three might take you. I think that’s all I can say for now”, said the series creator, in an interview with Variety.

“As for the plot of the third season, Gi-hun having lost everything, including his best friend, and all his attempts failing, now, what will he be like? What state will Gi-hun be in? And what will he choose to do? Will he continue with the mission? Will he give up or persist? And so you will find our character Gi-hun at a very critical crossroads as we begin the third season. Gi-hun will not be the man he was in the second season,” he added.

Dong-hyuk also said that the next season’s episodes will be good: “Every episode will get better. Each season will get better and a more expanded, more intense and definitely more fun story.”

The third season will be the last of “Round 6” . Remember the events of the first year and see more information about the second, which premiered on Thursday (26).
