Round 6, Ted Lasso and Heartbeat: Check out the 2022 SAG Awards winners

The Actors Guild of Hollywood announced this Sunday (27) the winners of the 2022 edition of the SAG Awards (Screen Actors Guild Awards), in which the organization chooses outstanding audiovisual productions of the year to be awarded.

The ceremony is part of the most important awards season in the audiovisual sectorwhich include the Golden Globes, Emmys, Grammys and Oscar.

In the world of series and miniseries, the big winners of the night were “Ted Lasso”, in the comedy category, and “Round 6” and “Succession”, among the drama productions. Among the films, the main winner of the night was “In the Rhythm of the Heart”, with the best cast and best supporting actor.

Some nominees had already been contemplated with nominations in other awards, but news were included by the organization. Productions such as “Attack dos Dogs” and “Introducing the Ricardos” have already received trophies at the Golden Globesbut the cast of “Don’t Look Up” appears as an innovation.

The absence of names like Kristen Stewart, for her performance as Princess Diana in “Spencer”, and the musical “Love, Sublime Amor”, by Steven Spielberg, drew attention on the internet.

Helen Mirren was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognized the 76-year-old actress known for her roles in films such as “The Queen” and “Hitchcock”.
