After a string of teasers, leaks, and even two official demos, Huawei has finally officially unveiled the Watch GT3 smartwatch. The novelty has two versions – 42 mm with a screen with a diameter of 1.32 inches and 46 mm with a screen with a diameter of 1.46 inches. In both cases AMOLED panels are used. The dimensions of the older model are 45.9 x 45.9 x 11 mm, the younger – 42.3 x 42.3 x 10.2 mm. Weight, respectively, 42.6 and 35 grams. The housings in both cases are made of stainless steel and plastic.
The Huawei Watch GT3 supports over 100 exercise modes and Healthy Living Clover provides guidance on exercise, sleep and walking throughout the day. A fifth generation TruSeen optical heart rate sensor is also provided, and blood oxygenation measurement is supported.
Both versions have 32MB of RAM and 4GB of internal flash memory, are waterproof (5ATM) and are compatible with Android and iOS devices. Telephony is supported due to the built-in microphone and headphones, but there is no built-in SIM card, so for calls you need to pair with a smartphone via Bluetooth. The watch is equipped with a GPS receiver. The autonomy of the younger version is seven days, the older one – 14 days.
In Europe, it is already possible to pre-order the new product, the Huawei FreeBuds 4i headphones are a bonus for the first buyers. The 42mm version is priced at 330 euros, and the 46mm version is 350 euros. Retail sales will start on November 10.
