Summer with moving in sight for William And Kate. The Cambridge family could leave their Kensington residence in the heart of London for Windsor. As in the best families, we gather for great occasions and discuss great changes. The Platinum Jubilee of the Queen, a week ago, seems to have been an opportunity to talk about a change of residence for the Cambridge and not only for them, for Prince Andrew a golden exile in Scotland is expected.
The news of the imminent move comes from Sunday Times. The couple and their three children would move into a house within the royal estate of windsor castle, where other members of the royal family live. Possible schools for the children would be identified: Louis, 4, would join George and Charlotte, who would leave the Battersea school that they will attend until the end of June. The Cambridge family would keep the London apartment, but would no longer live here on a permanent basis.

Among the Windsors it is known that no leaf moves that the queen does not want, and the move, often hypothesized in past years, could be an approach to her majesty who spent the last few years mostly at the castle. It might as well be a choice to let the children live in a greener space and protected from central London giving them more freedom. They will certainly get closer to Kate’s family: her parents live 45 minutes from the Castle.
William and Kate had established their main residence in Kensington Palace in 2017. They had previously lived a long time in the country house, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk. This house is still used regularly by the couple who will also keep the use of the London house.
