The new franchise movie “Rua do Fear”, “Queen of Baile” won his first trailer this Tuesday (29). The production Premiere on May 23rd on the Netflix streaming platform.
The new feature film receives the subtitle “Prom Queen” (“Queen of the Graduation Ball”, in Portuguese translation) and It will be set in 1988.
“The graduation ball season is underway and It Girls are competing for the Crown. Until a stranger is indicated and the other girls begin to mysteriously disappear,” says the official synopsis.
The cast consists of India Fowler, Suzanna Son, Fina Strazza, David Iacono, Ella Rubin, Chris Klein, Lili Taylor and Katherine Waterston.
As in the original trilogy, the new film will take place in Shadyside fictional city.
The films of the trilogy, “Rua do Fear: 1994 – Part 1”, “Rua do Fear: 1978 – Part 2” and “Rua do Fear: 1666 – Part 3” they have a group of teenagers who faces an evil force that terrorizes a city for centuries after brutal murders occur in the present.
