“RuPaul’s Drag Race” announces global edition with Brazilian; see full list

Paramount revealed this Monday (15) the names of the 12 participants of the new edition of the drag queen reality show franchise, “RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars “Among them is Miranda Lebrão 35, artist who came in fourth place in the Brazilian version of the competition .

The cast representing 12 different countries competes for the title of “Queen of the Mothertucking World”, a prize of around R$1 million and a place in the “Drag Race Hall of Fame” — a catalogue that brings together the winners of previous editions of the reality show.

Miranda Lebrão is from Rio de Janeiro and participated in the first edition of “Drag Race Brasil”, finishing among the four finalists of the competition.

In the Instagram post announcing her presence in the program’s cast, celebrities such as Gil do Vigor and Pabllo Vittar made comments celebrating with the artist.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars” will premiere on September 20 on the Paramount+ streaming service and is hosted by RuPaul, the franchise’s producer. The judging panel will include Michelle Visage, Jamal Sims and guests who have been on other international editions.

“Twelve queens representing their home countries raise the stakes to a whole new level. Plus, the international mix of charisma, uniqueness, courage and talent will blow you away,” host RuPaul Charles said in a press release.
