Russia: Accuses Azerbaijan of Nagorno-Karabakh ceasefire violation

THE Russia issued a statement accusing the Azerbaijan how it violates the truce agreed on Nagorno Karabakh.

Moscow therefore accused the Azerbaijani forces of violating the ceasefire, noting that the Russian peacekeeping forces seek to stabilize the situation in the deregulated region.

In recent days of hostilities, Azerbaijani forces claim to have killed four separatist fighters and wounded fifteen others.

It is noted that earlier, the separatist forces in Nagorno Karabakh had declared partial mobilization.

Also, it is recalled that Nagorno-Karabakh, with the support of Armenia, seceded from Azerbaijan after a bloody ethnic conflict in the early 1990s. In 2020, Azerbaijan managed to recover part of the territories controlled by the separatists.

Under the terms of the cease-fire agreement, Russian peacekeepers were deployed to protect the territory still held by the separatists.
