The Russian Ministry of Defense said in a statement on Wednesday that Ukraine made six attacks on Russian energy infrastructure on Tuesday, violating a US mediated agreement to suspend the shots.
Both countries agreed to suspend attacks on each other’s energy facilities last month, but both sides repeatedly accused themselves from violating the agreement.
Speaking published in the Telegram Message Application, the ministry said Kiev damaged the energy infrastructure in the Russian regions of Rostov and Kursk, as well as in the part of the Ukrainian region of Russia -controlled Zaporizehzia.
He also stated that Kiev carried out two failed attacks on the Russian Krasnodar region, including a compression station that serves the Turkstream pipeline, which sends gas from Russia to Turkey through the Black Sea.
The Reuters news agency failed to verify the battlefield reports.
