The Russian air defense intercepted on Thursday four Ukrainian drones marching to Moscow, according to a statement by the city’s mayor, Sergei Sobianin. Three airports in the wider Moscow – Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zukovsky – temporarily suspended their operation, which has now been restored, according to the Russian Civil Aviation Service. Earlier, it was announced that all flights to and from Kalouga Airport, which is about 200 kilometers southwest of Moscow, were suspended. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that 14 unmanned aircraft were shot down in the Bryansk region and eight others in the Belgorod region within a half hour – from 15:00 to 16:30.
