Gazprom and the Belarusian government have reached an agreement on the price of gas supplies to the country in 2022, according to the Russian news agency Ria Novosti, citing a statement from the Belarusian Ministry of Energy today.
“On December 1, 2021, in St. Petersburg, the Minister of Energy of Belarus Viktor Karankevich and the Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Vladimir Semashko met with the Chairman of the Board of Gazprom Alexei Miller. After the meeting, an agreement was signed between Gazprom and “Government of Belarus on the pricing of gas supplies to Belarus in 2022,” the statement said.
It clarifies that “the price level for the supply of natural gas in Belarus for 2022 has been agreed based on the terms of this year, ie 128.52 dollars per thousand cubic meters.”
