Truck ship sub China flag sank in the Tatarsky Strait, off Sakhalin Island, the Information Directorate of the Federal Service of Sea and River Transport of Russia, specifying how there were no casualties, according to Russian state news agency TASS.
“The crew, which consisted of 21 of its citizens People’s Republic of China, went down on the ice and was picked up by passing ship“, the service said. “Everyone is fine, there were no casualties”according to the same source.
It has not been made clear what the ship’s cargo was, nor the cause of its sinking.
