Russia denies accusations of new cyberattacks on Britain

Her embassy of Russia in London she issued a statement denying her accusations Britain that it unleashed new ones cyber attacks in the country.

Specifically, the British government summoned the Russian ambassador and imposed sanctions on two individuals for what he said was an ongoing but failed attempt to interfere in the country’s politics with Russian cyber spies.

According to the British Foreign Office, the group of hackers known to cyber researchers by the nickname Cold River acting on behalf of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB), has targeted British politicians, journalists and non-profit organizations over a period of several years.

It is noted that the US has imposed new sanctions on Andrei Korinets and Ruslan Aleksandrovich Peretiatko, allegedly related to the cyber attacks.
