In agreement with 10 countries and 20 pharmaceutical companies for the production of the vaccine Sputnik V Russia has made headlines around the world, according to Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) chief Kirill Dmitriev during a televised meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Most foreign pharmaceutical companies with which Russia has entered into an agreement to produce the Russian Sputnik-V vaccine will begin production in full force from April., stated as broadcast by the Athenian News Agency on Friday (2/4).
As India and South Korea have already explained, they are producing the Russian vaccine and in April many of these pharmaceutical companies will produce it in full force.

RDIF had earlier announced that it had entered into agreements with 20 pharmaceutical companies and more than 10 countries including India, Brazil, South Korea, China, Serbia, Italy, Belarus, Kazakhstan.
The agreements between RDIF and the major pharmaceutical companies will ensure the production of sufficient quantities of vaccines to vaccinate 700 million people by 2021.
The Russian vaccine has been approved by the competent regulatory authorities in 59 countries, with a population of more than 1.5 billion, while in more than 30 countries mass vaccination with the Sputnik-V vaccine has begun.
