Russia introduced an analogue of Uber, only instead of cars – drones

At the international specialized exhibition of unmanned systems and technologies UMEX 2022, which is taking place these days, a platform was presented that allows you to quickly find a contractor for any task that requires the use of an unmanned aerial vehicle. In fact, this is an analogue of the Uber service for UAVs. The project is being developed by Fly Dron, a Skolkovo resident and part of Rostec.

The Rostec website reports that the platform will include several online services at once. Users will be able to create a request for a drone flight on the map, determine the authority for its approval based on their location, arrange insurance, and much more. FlyMarket will allow customers to hire drone pilots for specific tasks, and pilots to look for orders for their services.

Fly Dron intends to enter the international market with its product, therefore it invites everyone to test the system. In addition to this project, the company also introduced the Safe Urban Airspace system. It allows you to identify the drone thanks to dual surveillance from radars, track flights online and identify violators of the airspace. This system can be used stand-alone or integrated into city/region control centers.
