The Russian government has compiled a list of goods and equipment previously imported to Russia from abroad and temporarily banned from exporting the country, according to a government commission, according to the Russian news agency TASS.

“This measure is necessary to ensure stability in the Russian market,” the statement said. According to the cabinet, “exports of these goods are temporarily restricted to all foreign countries”, with the exception of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
“The latter will be subject to an export process based on a license approved by a separate government decree,” the statement said.
