Russia is using missiles made in North Korea, US says

Russia's armed forces are using North Korean ballistic missiles on Ukrainian territory, a Pentagon report based on an analysis of the wreckage says, confirming a long-standing U.S. allegation that Russia is acquiring weapons from North Korea. The US military intelligence agency, the DIA, used mostly open-source photographic material to confirm that debris found in January in Kharkiv Oblast (northeast Ukraine) came from a short-range ballistic missile of North Korean origin. The DIA compared visuals released by North Korean media to photos of missile fragments found in Ukraine. “The analysis confirms that Russia is using ballistic missiles produced in North Korea in its war against Ukraine,” the agency said in a press release released ahead of the report. “Debris of North Korean missiles have been found all over Ukraine,” according to the same source.
