According to the concept of the Ministry of Digital Development, the background can be replenished through a new fee of 5% from sales of games in Russia through such platforms as Steam, Xbox Games Store, PlayStation Store and others. Such a fee can provide up to 10 billion rubles annually.
The Ministry of Digital Development noted that a report with proposals for the fund has already been sent to the government. The government notes that the proposals are undergoing interdepartmental coordination and elaboration.
