Russia could invade Ukraine “without warning”, according to the latest information from the British Ministry of Defense. (17).
The tweet includes a map of “President Putin’s possible axis of invasion”, which showed that Russia was capable of carrying out the phase one land movement towards Kiev from two points along the Belarusian border, and a point from border with Western Russia.
The map also showed the possibility of land movements from phase one towards Dnipro from two points and from Crimea towards Mariupol.
The illustration, published by the British ministry’s Twitter, showed possible land movements from the second phase of Crimea towards Mykolaiv and from Dnipro towards Vinnytsya.
It also showed possible land movements from the first phase of the Western Russian border towards Luhansk. Based on this intelligence, Putin “can still choose to avoid conflict and preserve peace”, the ministry emphasized.
