The Kremlin said today it needs more details on information about an EU plan to impose tariffs on Russian grain. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that Moscow is aware of the Financial Times report, but the timing and other details need to be clarified before Russia decides what its response will be. The Financial Times reports today, citing sources briefed on the plans in Brussels, that the European Union is preparing to move ahead with imposing tariffs on grain imports from Russia and Belarus to appease farmers and some states members.
