The Kremlin noted on Thursday that no agreement had been reached with Turkey on the export of Ukrainian wheat through the Black Sea, with Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peshkov saying efforts were continuing, according to Reuters.
Turkey is trying to reach an agreement between Russia and Ukraine to reopen maritime corridors for Russian grain exports, although there is little optimism about the success of its effort.
Moscow and Kyiv are blaming each other for provoking an international food crisis.
At the same time, Russia noted that it is not planned to cut off gas supplies to other European customers, as the scheme of payment of gas in rubles through a double account in a Russian bank “works”, as Peshkov said.
