Russia: Peace talks with Ukraine have not stopped, they are remotely held

The chief Russian negotiator, Vladimir Medinsky, has stated that the peace talks with Ukraine have not stopped, but are kept at a distance.

His comments come as Moscow’s Victory Day parade began, complete with troops and heavy weaponry.

In his victory speech, the Russian president Vladimir Putin has said that the “special military operation” in Ukraine was the right decision.

The Russian leader linked his war in Ukraine with that historic struggle in a speech in which blamed the West for the conflict but that it contained no further escalationsaccording to NBC News.
