In effervescence is Russia after the president’s announcement Vladimir Putin for partial mobilization of 300,000 reservists which will be sent to front with Ukraine. A photo leaked on social media by local media platforms allegedly shows young Russians trying to cross the border into Georgia. Earlier, there were demonstrations in Russia with over a thousand arrests.
It is noted that because flights from Moscow to the capitals of Georgia, Turkey and Armenia do not require visas for Russians, they became impossible a few minutes after Putin’s speech.
In fact, airlines have been instructed not to issue tickets to men between the ages of 18 and 65, as they are expected to be sent a front line classification paper.
So, as can be seen from the photo, the Russians had no choice but to cross into Georgia on foot or in their vehicles. Also, this seems to be their only way out since the Baltic countries have announced that even with a Schengen visa they will not allow them to cross their borders.
